Getting started

Six steps from signing up to answering your first conversation. Most teams are through this in about ten minutes, and nothing here needs a developer.

  1. 1

    Create your workspace

Pick your company name and a web address — yourcompany.hettos.io — choose the modules you want, and you are in. Everything selected is free for 14 days and no card is requested. Your first account is the workspace administrator.

  2. 2

    Connect a channel

The fastest path is email. Every workspace comes with its own address, so you can forward an existing support mailbox to it and conversations start becoming tickets straight away. If you use Microsoft 365, connect the mailbox by signing in instead — incoming and sent mail then sync both ways, and replies go out from your own address.

  3. 3

    Make it look like you

Upload your logo in Settings → Branding. It replaces the Hettos mark on your sign-in page, in the sidebar your team sees all day, and on the quotations and documents your customers receive.

  4. 4

    Set up teams and routing

Create the groups that mirror how you actually work — support, sales, billing — and decide how new conversations reach them: assigned round-robin to whoever is available, or left in a shared queue. Set your business hours so after-hours auto-replies are honest about when someone will answer.

  5. 5

    Invite your team

Add your colleagues and give each of them only the modules they need. An agent who lives in the inbox never sees the finance ledger, and a salesperson lands in the CRM. Everyone can enable two-factor authentication on their own account.

  6. 6

    Answer the first one

Send yourself a test message on the channel you connected and watch it arrive. Reply, resolve it, and you have seen the whole loop — including the satisfaction survey the customer gets afterwards.
